The morning session will cover memory, cognitive load theory and its impact upon teaching and learning. This is directly linked with working memory and retention of knowledge.
Stephen was Headteacher of St. Mary’s an 11-18 Secondary school for thirteen years before becoming the Executive Headteacher of the school and of a one form entry primary school. He now leads the cross phase multi-academy trust. He is working to develop a culture in which staff, children and young people can flourish; at the heart of this is work on the professional development of teachers. As a prolific blogger (www.leadinglearner.me) he writes on a range of topical educational issues. He’s on twitter as @LeadingLearner and author of Liminal Leadership.

Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the training date or non attendance will be subject to a 100% charge.
Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to the training date will not be charged.
